All Aboard!! Community Garden Updates and Important Announcements.

Our Fall Festival will be held next Saturday, Oct 12 from 12pm-4pm. It will be a fun day with Live Music, Vendors, Pumpkins, and a boatload of activities for all ages.
 
We could use support from additional community volunteers. You can sign up to help out for a short 2.5 hour shift in the morning or afternoon at this link: https://forms.gle/GE6sDomuVCh27dVp6
 
Jovial is hosting a Community Listening Session tomorrow, October 5th from 10-11am at 4541 S. Braun Ct. Morrison. Please come to share ideas, requests, or other thoughts regarding the Orchard and Weaver Creek Park.
 
In preparation for Winter and frost and to protect against the risk of freezes and ruptured irrigation pipes, we will officially be turning off the orchard and community garden irrigation system on October 15th.
 
We will be posting a link to reserve a plot in the Weaver Creek Community Garden for 2025 in the coming newsletters, keep an eye out!
 
Compost Colorado is hosting a Compost Pickup day. If you have bags of leaves, or any other plant debris or other things to be composted, you can bring them to Weaver Creek Park from 10am – 12pm on Saturday Oct. 26th and Compost Colorado will pick it up for free!

If you have extra produce and would like to drop it off for donation, please stop by the park on any Saturday at 10am!
