Turn Your Story Into A Media Message.

The great thing about the vision that you have created is that you have an open canvas to create and edify the message that you have planned using Invite, Relate, Share

Using the statements that you have crafted in your plan, you can begin to find artistic and visual elements that will create the environment for your message, as well as symbolize the meaning created in your plan.

There are many ways to appreciate symbols, and they are often a more cognitively available means of visually conveying a message than language. In every message there are signs that represent the direct meaning of your message, such as a signpost or word or a name, and there are symbols that embody the meaning of the story that you create that convey the whole ecosystem of experience around your message.

As you create media based on your plan you can select and choose any sign or object to represent your message; and craft any environment, imagined space, or location that best represents the background of your story to create a symbol. Human memory works by combining these two elements, the detail of the objects in the environment or signs, with the context of the surrounding environment or symbols. As you work to combine the two, people will remember your message, and there are many visual elements that you can employ this way to inspire others and share your vision.

The Co-Op at 1st has a media platform that you can use to construct digital assets based on your plan.

There are many types of digital assets that you can combine in any way that you imagine to convey the story from your Invite, Relate, Share plan:

  • Video and video recordings such as those of people, places, and environments. One great service for recording video with an app can be found at wevideo.com.
  • Audio such as voice recordings, spaces, and sound effects.
  • Music created with musical instruments or digital synthesizers, that can be recorded mixed and mastered with our Advanced Digital Audio Workstation, or use our previously acquired digital music assets and music loops for production. Also have a look at stockmusic.net
  • Still images, photos and digital assets: You may legally acquire and license digital assets for your use such as from shutterstock.com, unsplash.com, or create and edit them using our tools such as GIMP.
  • Animations, there are many tools and apps available on mobile devices such as Hype Text and other animating tools for creating animated text or characters.
  • Presentations, such as slides and animated content based on business presentation elements. Check out prezi.com.
  • Screen captures, such as any original content created and displayed using an on screen software package, or original presentations of your own content or the content from other contributors that is licensed expressly for your use.

Once you have selected the media assets that you’ll use to create each of the scenes that you made a plan for in your Invite, Relate, Share template, you may use the Co-Op Media Center to edit and combine the assets to tell your story. You may also use your own tools and software to create each of the scenes (one each of the invite, relate, and share steps) you’ve described in your plan, as a three step process, and then combine them into one story.

If you would like, you can upload up to ten (10) Invite, Relate, Share plans with the button at the bottom of this page and someone from The Co-Op at 1st will reach out to you in order to help with producing your media text(s).

Once you have a message created based on your plan, the next step is to begin sharing your media texts online.
